John Billington R. I. P.

I took this picture while walking home from a party early on Saturday morning, 14 November.
John Billington, who I used to talk about photography with, had drowned while rowing out to his boat in the bay a couple of hours previously.

I knew John Billington well and will miss him. He was a great guy. We were in a band together in 1989-1990 called The BLUE HOUSE with Ted Wall and Bill Hartley and Vince Pinker. I have one of his photos here in my collection..I have often wondered how it could be that he came to drown. R. I. P John

Chris I'm trying to get hold of you...A book is being written about the band "The Gordons" and is being finished very soon we are trying to find out what happened to John Billington's photo collection, as he had some historic photos, including Vince Pinker in Marlenes band, which the author would love to perhaps use for his book...Alos be nice to see some photos of John and us all together...sighs....My email address is lavenderunicorn@hotmail.com

John gave me a photograph he took of the sparkling ocean...He was a great guy wasn't he? :) He is missed, as is Vince.
